worried about Faiq

My boy Faiq-intelligent,determined boy.But he lacks confidence and needs a lot of support to get through everyday.I have beena bit worried lately about him as he drives himself away a lot from family time(when we sit together-mostly without dad around),he looks sad sometimes.Not sure what it is-wonder sometimes if it's the baby that is taking up all the attention away.Yesterday when I got home both Faiq and abang ngah said this coming Friday will be their parent-teacher day.I should go to see how the kids are really doing.Faiq said that he could have dropped a bit-I got worried when I heard that but I tried to tell him what mattered was that hehad tried his best,and that is only what matters.He said he  got caned again from 2 of his teachers because of unfinished work and forgetting one of his books.He is one forgetful boy,I must say!!!I should talk to him...Should have some time today with him.He seeks attention,I know-now I feel guilty for missing breakfast morning with him last Saturday.:(
